• I am interested in studying the Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists. What is the latest date I can register?

  Registration is open all year round and you will have 12 months to book and sit the exam which can be taken at a time and location of your choice (subject to availability).

• When will I receive my study materials?

  Your registration fee includes access to an online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) in your MyLIBF account.
  
  Online study materials will be made available within 24 hours of payment.

• When do I get my result?

  Your result will be printed and handed to you by the invigilator at the test centre once you have left the room. This notification will show whether you have passed the assessment and will also be available in the ‘Assessment details & results’ section on MyLIBF within 24 hours. 

• When do I get my certificate?

  We will email information about your certificate a few days after you achieve your pass and it will be sent within 30 working days. Certificates will be sent within 30 working days of the issue of your result. Certificates are not sent by courier, so no tracking information is available.

• My certificate has not arrived.

  If you have not received your certificate within 60 working days of the confirmation of your result, you will need to complete a certificate re-issue form. Your certificate will be issued free of charge as long as the completed form is received within two weeks of this timescale. After this period, a fee of £48 will apply.
  
  Re-issued certificates can be sent by a courier for an additional fee of £30. This should be included at the time of submitting your form.

• How can I cancel my exam or change my exam date, time or venue?

  Before your registration expiry date you can cancel your exam or change your exam date, time or venue (subject to availability). You will need to contact Pearson VUE directly, giving a minimum of 24 hours’ notice online or at least one working days’ notice by phone prior to your current exam booking. For example, if your exam is booked for a Monday, the latest you can reschedule is the previous Friday.

• What happens if I decide to cancel my registration?

  You have 14 calendar days from your course start date to cancel your registration and arrange a refund by calling our Student and Customer Services team. You will need to return any hard copy study texts in its original condition.  After this period all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  
  If you have already booked your exam with Pearson VUE (and are within the cancellation period), you will need to contact them directly at least 24 hours prior to the exam date to cancel it. Then allow at least two hours before calling our Student and Customer Services team to cancel the qualification registration and arrange a refund.
